"Amy's Bedroom" is located off the Garden Room and southern deck, with windows looking to woods on the south and Lake Michigan on the west. |

The kitchen was built for Shari, who loved to cook, and especially enjoyed "team cooking" with a number of participants. She disliked over-counter cabinets, but appreciated modern kitchen appliances. Dan Collier was able to design and build a kitchen to reflect these preferences. In addition, he was able to make it very attractive and fully functional. |

The appliances include two raised dishwashers, an ice-maker, a trash compactor, two conventional ovens, one warming oven, a microwave oven and a large refrigerator. There is also a separate baking area, floor-to-ceiling dish cupboards and a long butcher block island. |
